Mtskheta is one of Georgia’s oldest cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Just a short drive from Tbilisi, it was the country’s ancient capital and is home to stunning churches and monasteries such as Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari Monastery.
Tbilisi is the capital of Georgia. City where ancient history meets modern life. Its name comes from the Georgian word “tbili,” meaning warm, inspired by the city’s natural sulfur hot springs. Known for its charming Old Town, diverse architecture, and famous sulfur baths, Tbilisi offers a unique and memorable experience for every visitor.
DAY 3 KAKHETI / Overnight in Telavi
Kakheti, located in eastern Georgia is known for its 8,000-year-old winemaking tradition. Visitors can enjoy Georgian wines made in traditional clay vessels called "qvevri", and taste delicious local cuisine. Signature dishes include khachapuri, mtsvadi (grilled meat), and churchkhela. Signaghi, often called the “City of Love,” is a charming hilltop town in Georgia’s Kakheti region. According to the story, Niko Pirosmani, Georgia’s legendary painter, fell deeply in love with a French actress, Margarita de Sevres, and sold everything he owned to cover a street with millions of roses to impress her. The town allows couples to register their marriages at any time making it a special place to celebrate love.
DAY 4 KAKHETI / Overnight in Telavi
Alaverdi Monastery is one of the most important historical and religious landmarks in Georgia, located in the heart of the Kakheti wine region. Founded in the 6th century, the monastery is famous for its impressive cathedral and ancient architecture.
In Georgian culture, "Supra" is a traditional feast or gathering centered around food, wine, hospitality, and toasts. It is an important part of Georgian traditions where family, friends, and guests come together to celebrate special occasions or simply enjoy time together. A supra is usually led by a "Tamada" (toastmaster), who proposes meaningful toasts about family, friendship, love and peace. It represents Georgian hospitality, culture, and the spirit of sharing.
DAY 5 KAKHETI / Overnight in Tbilisi
Stinandali estate: European-style garden established in the 19th century by Aristocrat Alexander Chavchavadze. Spanning over 12 hectares, the garden features ornamental trees, flower beds, and scenic pathways overlooking the Alazani Valley. Historically, it served as a place for leisure, cultural gatherings, and intellectual discussions among Georgian aristocracy and European guests. Today, it remains a key attraction of Tsinandali Estate, offering visitors a serene and picturesque environment that reflects the estate’s rich cultural and botanical heritage.
